Mahesh Karambele

Mahesh’s works are a rhythmic play of transparency and energy – giving the viewer a feel of looking out on to an endless horizon. His paintings are essentially free of strict form and design. They are a soothing juxtaposition of colours and strokes which hint at vast landscape.

The strength of his brush dipped in oil paint subtly etches out silhouettes of cityscapes and landscapes – his oeuvre covers everything from bustling cities to serene lakesides – its is up to the viewer to discover shape and form within the strokes on his canvas.

Karambele has been part of several prestigious group shows across the globe and his works are in private and public collections in India, France, Portugal, London, Singapore, Germany, Amsterdam and Dubai to name a few.
