About the College

ECube Global College established in 2010, is an institution of higher learning dedicated to global enrichment and meeting the ever evolving needs of our diverse community. With an emphasis on dynamic curriculums, innovative programs and technology integrated learning, we are committed to being a pioneer in the field of career-centric education.

ECube is supported by our diverse network of scholastic institutions; CP Goenka International School and Swami Vivekanand International Schools and Colleges, headed by Mr. Sandeep Goenka. At ECube, we empower our students to excel academically as well as personally, as they hone their critical thinking and practical skills to help them collaborate effectively, communicate efficiently and lead successfully. Mr. Sandeep Goenka’s career graph spans across a range of industries such as Beverages, Textiles, Paper and Education.

Upon completing his graduation from Sydenham College in Mumbai, he joined his family in the manufacturing and marketing of their family-owned units for Gum Resins, Paper, Tea and Textiles. Progressing steadily within the organization, he went on to manage the businesses on national and subsequently international levels. His responsibilities as a Director of the Group included the marketing and business development of their distribution network across India and overseas.

His thirst for growth, his passion for learning and his vision for an educated India lead him into the field of education. Under the Citizen’s Welfare Trust, the family developed their first school with Kangaroo Kids at Juhu in Mumbai in 2000. Success follows the deserving and today the Citizen’s Welfare Trust, under the able guidance of Mr. Sandeep Goenka, manages and educates 2,500 students in three schools at Juhu and one at Thane.

To realize his vision of a wholesome education plan for the youth of India, Mr. Goenka endeavours to offer his students a learning cycle that begins and ends with his institutions. CP Goenka International offers a complete schooling program inclusive of a high school facility whereas the newly developed ECube Global College offers graduation and post-graduation programs with an international association.

Having established his proficiency in the field of education, Mr. Goenka’s passion for social development has led him to be a charter member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview. His wife, Mrs. Archana Goenka, supports his vision and is actively involved in managing the institutions of the Citizen’s Welfare Trust. They are blessed with a lovely daughter, Tvisha.

BTEC is one of the world’s most recognized applied learning brands, engaging students in practical, interpersonal and thinking skills, for more than thirty years.

BTECs are work-related qualifications for students taking their first steps into employment, or for those already in employment and seeking career development opportunities. BTECs provide progression into the workplace either directly or via study at university and are also designed to meet employer’s needs. Therefore, Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications are widely recognised by industry and higher education as the principal vocational qualification at Levels 4 and 5.

When developing the Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications in Creative Media Production, Computing and System Development, Bachelor of Business Admisntration. We collaborated with a wide range of students, employers, higher education providers, colleges and subject experts to ensure that the new qualifications meet their needs and expectations. We also worked closely with the relevant Professional Bodies, to ensure alignment with recognised professional standards.

Why choose Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals?

Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals are designed to help students secure the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to succeed in the workplace. They represent the latest in professional standards and provide opportunities for students to develop behaviours for work, for example by undertaking a group project, or responding to a client brief. A student may even achieve exemption from professional or vendor qualifications, or student membership of selected professional bodies, to help them on their journey to professional competence.

At the same time the BTEC Higher Nationals are intended to keep doors open for future study should a student wish to progress further in their education after their Level 5 study. They do this by allowing space for the development of higher education study skills, such as the ability to research. Clear alignment of level of demand with the Framework for Higher Education qualification descriptors at Level 4 and 5 means that students wishing to progress to Level 6 study should feel better prepared. The Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals address these various requirements by providing:

  • A range of core, optional and specialist units, each with a clear purpose, so there is something to suit each student’s choice of programme and future progression plans.
  • Fully revised content that is closely aligned with the needs of employers, professional bodies, vendors and higher education for a skilled future workforce.
  • The opportunity to develop transferable skills useful for work and for higher education, including research skills, the ability to meet deadlines and communication skills.
  • Learning Outcomes mapped against Professional Body standards and vendor accreditation requirements, where appropriate.
  • Assessments and projects chosen to help students progress to the next stage (this means some are set by the Centre to meet local needs, while others are set by Pearson). Students are required to apply their knowledge to a variety of assignments and activities, with a focus on the holistic development of practical, interpersonal and higher-level thinking skills.
  • An approach to demand at Level 4 and 5 which is aligned with the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ).
  • Support for students and tutors including Schemes of Work and Example Assessment Briefs.
